Jay is a dj/producer residing in northern Alberta. Jay had his first taste of psychedelic sound at an early age and has never gone back. After being inspired by locals in his city, he began dj'ing in 2008 and producing since 2010. He has had the pleasure of opening for artists highly respected by him. After playing multiple events in Grande Prairie, he broke onto the festival circuit in 2010, playing Astral Harvest and Motion Notion as well as smaller homegrown events. In 2011 he made an impression at Entheos Gathering, as well as a second year at Astral Harvest. He has his sights set on live production for the near future and will continue to evolve.

2lucid can also be found collaborating with Dan aka Illementree under the alias Illucid, delivering heavy doses of high tech electro psy, a merciless high energy sound leaving minds yolked. Jay, Marcia and Dan have been making a mark on their city in 2011, organizing electronic events offering a more culturally diverse and art filled experience.

From downtempo, to progressive to full on electro-psy, to glitched out IDM expect nothing short of a treat for dancer and dreamer alike for the performance that is Jay and Marcia's lovechild is ever growing.

Marcia has been in love with belly dance since her first attempt in '98.  Originally following in the footsteps of generations of dancers came before, she worked hard at getting not only the foundation of movement, but an understanding of the roots of belly dance culture.  To this end Marcia began studying classic Egyptian style for the first few years, but that all changed after seeing a belly dancer dance to experimental down-tempo in a San Francisco club.

After this awakening, and wanting to share her take on Tribal Fusion belly dance, she began teaching and created Halo Dance as well as the Scarlet Coquette, a dedicated student performance group.  In addition to regularly traveling for training, Marcia hosted a workshop and evening party in Grande Prairie featuring Luna Dance Fusion from Edmonton in 2009 called Paint it Scarlet.  Working with Eargasm Music Productions, the event was financially successful earning a small profit, and personally successful in meeting future conspirator/collaborator Jay Beggs.  During 2010, Marcia and Jay traveled across Alberta performing at Astral Harvest, Motion Notion and lesser known but magically special Chodapalooza and founded Waking State Creations, a clothing line geared toward the optimistic and creatively inspired people of the world.
